A special, holiday benefit gala was hosted at the Bonnie Glen in support of Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital (HGMH) and its efforts to raise funds to purchase a CT scanner for the hospital in North Glengarry. More than 100 guests attended the evening organized by Céline Séguin and Michel Diotte from the Bonnie Glen Pavilion. Thanks to the kindness of the community that organized and attended the fundraiser, $2,675 was donated to HGMH from the proceeds of the gala.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to extend our sincere thanks to Bonnie Glen for hosting such a successful Holiday Gala, and to everyone who attended in support of our Foundation,” said Mark Adam, HGMH Foundation Board Chair. “Events like this demonstrate the incredible generosity of our community. Every dollar raised helps strengthen rural healthcare and ensures we can continue providing exceptional care close to home.”
Having a CT scanner at Glengarry Memorial Hospital will provide diagnostic imaging that will allow for more accurate treatments and will save lives for stroke patients, emergency services and rehabilitation. The goal for the hospital’s foundation is to raise $3.5 million over the next two years. This initiative is part of the five-year strategic plan for HGMH as it works towards advancing infrastructure and technology to provide better health care services for the community.
