Alexandria, ON — KMAC Electric, a trusted family-owned business in Alexandria, Ontario, is making a meaningful impact on local health care. Owners Kirk MacMillan and Ryan MacMillan recently contributed $1,000 to the Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital (HGMH) Foundation’s CT Scanner Campaign, marking the first year of a five-year pledge totaling $5,000 through the Foundation’s Business Steps Up initiative.
“Our families have relied on HGMH services for generations and continue to do so today. Adding a CT scanner is a meaningful expansion of its diagnostic services, and we’re proud to support an investment that will benefit our community for years to come.”
The CT Scanner Fundraising Campaign at HGMH aims to bring advanced diagnostic imaging technology to Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry and surrounding areas, enhancing patient care and reducing the need for residents to travel outside the region for scans. Contributions from local family-owned businesses like KMAC Electric are helping ensure patients have access to fast, accurate diagnoses and modern medical care.
“As a family-owned business, KMAC Electric understands the importance of caring for families,” said Mark Adam, Chair of the HGMH Foundation Board. “Their multi-year commitment helps support the health and well-being of families in our community today, while ensuring HGMH is ready to meet the evolving needs of families tomorrow. We are deeply grateful to Kirk and Ryan for stepping up and investing in the health of the people they serve every day.”
HGMH Foundation encourages other businesses to join Business Steps Up and become community partners, helping strengthen local health care for families today and into the future.
